Renovation of a mountain chalet

This renovation project involved the interior design of a typical 18th century mountain chalet, with additional wall paintings created by the artist Claudia Tomasuolo. The motifs depict the bread decorations that in the past served to distinguish the different families that shared the common the village oven. The furniture is both traditional and custom-made from recovered wood. The blue of the walls pay homage to the gentians that cover the surrounding meadows during the summer months.
